While planning to launch their new rocket into space sometime this summer to discover new discoveries, China and their astronauts are holding conferences to discuss this topic. The three astronauts, Nie Haisheng, Zhang Xiaogoang, and Wang Yaping, will travel through space for only 15 days. They will test out the new technology systems for China such as improving space food, rocket launching in space, and a new kind of docking system. This is only the second time an Chinese women has gone into space. The rocket will launch Tuesday, June 11. It will be a kind of celebration representing the 10th year since China first went to Space. China is working hard with the United States to make this trip possible. China will hopefully be able to launch the rockets in space, creating great advancements in history.

The Fog

The fog drifts overhead.
Into the rooms and across trees
The mist covers everything.
Over the people and around the flowers
The fog drifts overhead.

Life is...

Life is a roller coaster
Sometimes it goes up
Sometimes it goes down
Sometimes it twists
Sometimes it turns
Sometimes it swerves
And sometimes it stops
But at the end of the ride
Life is fun

Thomas Edison

Thomas, a famous inventor, created three inventions that advanced all technology in the world. Thomas was born in Milan, Ohio in 1847. Thomas was born with what we know call ADHD, but he did not let that stop him from what he loved to do. As he grew older, he became deaf in his left ear and most of his right ear. He married three different times and had six children. Thomas wanted to make a difference in the world, so he did.

At first, Thomas struggled to come up with an idea, however managed to create three different ideas and tools. His first invention was the phonograph, created in 1877, happened to be the first record player ever. Thomas recorded himself reciting "Mary had a Little Lamb" on the phonograph. Have you always thought Tom invented the light bulb? Well, Thomas didn't. He only advanced the ideas from the past 50 years. Last, Thomas invented the first motion picture camera in 1895.
